Video communication: video content as the trigger to increase interest and focus in a certain information

When we talk about video communication, we refer to anytime we use a video to share information. The most common use is a video call or, an online video meeting or video conference. Especially in the last 10 years but with a net increase imposed by the new working norms dictated by the advent of the covid, video communication has become a daily necessity.
Exchanging information with video is now within everyone’s reach. Try to think about the simplicity with which we can access technologies such as ZOOM or Meet Now (just to name a few), and have a virtual space that connects us with colleagues, stakeholders, customers or suppliers who are in another geo-location.
And how many things can we make interact in a video meeting?
File exchange, sharing of our screens to show charts, infographic or other files, private chats with individual meeting participants. We can record the video meeting for subsequent sharing or simple archive. So excellent to have a video report with few clicks, ready to be shared. All this without moving from in front of our device just connected to the internet.

Business video communication involves much more than using tools to connect in a remote meeting.

Again with reference to the security regulations to avoid and limit the spread of the virus, gatherings are prevented or accepted with a minimum number of participants. How to promote a service or product through social media? If before we could have available different types of video for events, today the circle of high demand tightens to live stream events. The effectiveness of a live stream event, also known as a virtual event, depends a lot on the imagination of those who set it up and on the originality of the ideas that will convey it.

A video content to summarize an article, or to introduce a broader textual content, can be an excellent starting point to motivate an in-depth reading. A well done video content can in fact be the trigger for a great interest increase in a certain information. It is no coincidence that video marketing is often associated with modern video communication.
